Join the Redwire team in developing and fielding end-to-end innovative mission critical space system solutions for next generation space architecture. At Redwire, you will work closely with customers from concept development through mission operations to ensure mission success.
Location: Kruibeke, Belgium, with operations in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Poland
Reports to: CFO, Europe (with a dotted Line to Chief People Officer, US)

Our projects are highly innovative, technically challenging and diverse. We have projects in all phases of the product lifecycle. It ranges from study phases, design and testing of qualification models up to full integration and testing of flight hardware and support to launch campaigns.

As we continue to improve our HR department, we’re looking for an experienced HR Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in aligning our HR operations with our business objectives.
Position Overview:
As the HR Director for Europe, you will oversee the day-to-day HR functions across our European offices and lead a diverse HR team, ensuring streamlined HR operations that comply with regional and organizational standards. You’ll report to our European CFO with a close collaboration with our Managing Director of Europe and with a dotted line to our parent company in the United States, offering a unique opportunity to align regional HR practices within a global framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR strategy development: Being a strategic business partner to enhance our HR strategy as we grow. We’re currently a group of almost 200 employees and are keep going!
- HR Management: Oversee daily HR functions and processes across Belgium, Luxembourg, and Poland, ensuring smooth and efficient HR service delivery that aligns with local and organizational standards.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain HR procedures and policies to support strategic goals while adhering to best practices and legal requirements (with support of our HR Generalist). This also covers translation of corporate policies to European standards. This can go from overall governance to learning and development, recognition schemes, performance management, ...
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across multiple regions, working with our Talent Acquisition Expert to attract, assess, and onboard talent.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of benefits packages (together with our HR Generalist), ensuring competitive, fair, and consistent offerings that align with market standards and local regulations. Advising leadership if changes are needed.
- Employee Relations: Foster an open, positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and conflicts in a constructive, confidential, and professional manner.
- Performance Management: Leading the performance process, ensuring that our people managers have the tools they need to manage our talent.
- Learning and development: Our company can only grow when our people do. Ensure that we have growth plans in place with a scala of learning opportunities.
- Employee engagement: Analyzing the yearly employee engagement data, creating relevant business action points and following suit.
- Administrative oversight of health & wellness, travel, training and canteen.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team consisting of 3 HR profiles and 4 administrative profiles, which you are responsible for providing guidance and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of HR management experience, with expertise in overseeing regional HR operations and a proven track record in team leadership.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with strong business acumen and interpersonal communication skills.
- Technical: Familiarity with human resource systems such as payroll, learning management, performance management and talent acquisition.
- Compliance: Solid understanding of regional HR compliance, labor laws, and employment regulations. Have profound knowledge over the standards in Belgium and eager to gain knowledge about Luxembourg and Poland.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment that reflects our company values.
- Education: Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Language requirements: English and Dutch.
