Job Overview & Responsibilities

• Focus on people, safety, processing, quality, cost, schedule, and launch of Vulcan products at VSFB, and supports the same for Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS)
• Formulate objectives and strategies ensuring alignment with Launch Operations, programs, and ULA goals. Ensuring on-time launches, achieving aggressive cost reduction targets, and sustaining mission success
• Primary interface with mission and government customers (NRO, NASA & USSF)
• Manage Spacecraft Integration process (NRO and SDA)
• Foster customer relationships
• Manage milestones, master plans and schedules to meet launch dates
• Be a delegate for Vandenberg Site Director
• Communicate and align vision and strategy to support Launch Ops and Supply Chain Managers
• Manage initiatives to ensure continuous improvement of processes and alignment with corporate initiatives

Required Education

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 8 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with launch vehicle, spacecraft, or aerospace systems.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience leveraging teamwork (lead and mentor a team).
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to develop relationships at multiple levels.
• Experience with project management principles and an ability to drive execution.
• Project/program level schedule and budget development, tracking and reporting experience.
• Ability to address cross-organizational challenges and conflicts.
• Experience briefing senior leaders, and an ability to present to a customer audience.
• Organization skills necessary to maintain focus and drive to consensus within diverse cross functional teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to communicate complex problems, agreements and achieve consensus across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with the NRO, NASA or Space Force.
• Launch base operations experience.
• On-console experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading change management.
• Project Management Certification

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Vandenberg AFB only): $139,144.00 - $258,755.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
