Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a highly skilled Performance and Risk Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing performance metrics and mitigating risks in complex environments, working collaboratively with contractors, SETA (Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance), and government personnel. This role involves analyzing performance, assessing risk, and providing strategic recommendations to support mission-critical objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement performance metrics and risk management strategies to support program objectives.
  • Collaborate with contractors, SETA, and government personnel to ensure the successful execution of projects and deliverables.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address identified risks.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Provide detailed reports and briefings to senior leadership on program performance and risk status.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Level 3 (Principal):

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in a relevant field with 5+ years of professional experience in performance management, risk management, or a related field, Master's Degree (MS) with 3+ years of relevant experience, or PhD.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and adjudicated CI Polygraph at time of application.
  • Demonstrated experience working with contractors, SETA, and government personnel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in developing reports, briefings, and presentations.

Level 4 (Sr. Principal):

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in a relevant field with 8+ years of professional experience in performance management, risk management, or a related field, Master's Degree (MS) with 6+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and adjudicated CI Polygraph at time of application.
  • Demonstrated experience working with contractors, SETA, and government personnel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in developing reports, briefings, and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS or MBA) in a relevant field.
  • Certifications in risk management, project management, or related disciplines (e.g., PMP, RMP, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with government acquisition processes and contract management.
  • Experience with tools and frameworks used in performance and risk management.

Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00Salary Range 2: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
