Located in Durango, CO, (Headquarters) and Mount Pleasant, PA (Additive Manufacturing Center) and now expanding into Tulsa, OK. Agile Space Industries, Inc. (AGILE) designs, builds, and tests in-space propulsion systems for satellites and spacecraft. AGILE uses state of the art 3D metal alloy printing techniques to rapidly design, manufacture, and test new engine designs in our purpose-built propulsion test facility. With over a decade of experience testing rocket engines, and engineers who have worked at industry leaders like Blue Origin, SpaceX, NASA, and Rocketdyne, AGILE is a rapidly growing company with many exciting Defense, Civil and Commercial programs.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant I to assist with the daily operations of our teams, directors, and project managers. This position is currently identified as part-time (3 days per week), with the potential to transition to full-time based on business needs and a mutual agreement. In this role, you will focus on enhancing productivity, streamlining communication, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for the organization. Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for general administrative tasks and support to team members, directors, and project managers.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for teams, ensuring all logistics (including room bookings, agenda preparation, and materials) are in place.
- Manage meal arrangements and logistics for onsite visitors, including ordering meals and organizing catering for meetings and events.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and follow-up action items, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
- Help organize and maintain office spaces, ensuring a productive environment with necessary supplies and equipment readily available.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as tracking schedules, managing calendars, and handling internal communications.
- Provide general office support, including directing inquiries and assisting with administrative projects as needed.
- Maintain organized records and assist with document preparation, ensuring easy access to information when required.
- Perform other related duties and tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of administrative processes within the company
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well with internal teams, directors, and visitors.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic digital tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Trello).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage interactions professionally and courteously.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to assist team members and contribute to the success of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred:
- Prior administrative or professional experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, as needed, for office supplies or equipment.
Employment Type: Non-Exempt
Salary: $22-$25 an hour
