Northrop Grumman Space Systems currently has an opening for a Principal Configuration Data Analyst. This position will be in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
What you will get to do:
This role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting, Familiarity with development and transfer of technical baselines, and conducting configuration audits,
- Developing Data Management products, knowledge, and experience with both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processes.
- Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance.
- Plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives.
- Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested.
- Represent your organization as a prime contact on your assigned contract or project.
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. #GBSDsystems
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in with 5 years’ experience; 3 years’ experience with a Masters’ degree; or 0 years’ experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of Configuration Management/Data Management may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance
- Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
- 1 year of Configuration Management/Data Management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of CM/DM experience
- NG CPLM or Siemens Teamcenter Experience.
- Siemens NX and/or Capital Experience.
- JIRA, SharePoint Experience.
- ICBM Weapon Systems Experience.
- Familiarity with EIA-649 and/or MIL-HDBK-61.
