Job description
Duties
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain an integrated system of financial staff services including accounting, budgeting, and management-financial reporting. Work may include staff services as auditing, credit analysis, management analysis.
- Exercise effective control over the financial resources of the organization.
- Coordinate and synthesize financial and management data so as to interpret the composite financial results of operations to all levels of the organization's management.
- Advise on, develop, coordinate, and carryout financial policies, procedures, and plans.
- Review, analyze, evaluate, and report upon program accomplishments in business and financial terms.
- Advise and assist management officials of the organization served by supplying business management advice required to make management decisions, establish organizational goals and objectives, and in all respects to manage the organization.

- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Qualifications
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
- Evaluating budget and financial areas for a complex project or programs that require interaction with performing organizations, centers, Headquarters, and Mission Operations;
- Providing business and financial advice, status reports, and guidance to division and branch level managers on business operations;
- Participating as an analyst in monthly organizational or Division business reviews.
