Job description
Duties
- Serve as a Team Lead and provides expert advice and guidance on the processes, methods, and resolution for operation functions, communications, risk management, project and program management, quality oversight, data analysis, etc.
- Support business operational demands and utilize data management and analytics to maximize outcomes. Produce extensive written products to explain programmatic concepts, strategies, alternatives, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to gather information and integrate work products. Prepare presentations based on assessments and on validated information and data.
- Lead teams as a subject matter specialist or representative to provide information and/or data-driven guidance.
- Research/investigate new or improved business and management practices for application to operating and administrative programs.
- Coordinate planning and execution of projects, including identifying opportunities to automate and improve processes.
- Determine when adjustments to task assignments are necessary. Trains new employees. Plans, organizes, and schedules work; explains what tasks are to be performed and what methods are to be used.
- Perform a full range of Team Lead duties which include exercising independent judgment in assigning work to members of the team based upon an assessment of the technical nature of the task and the expertise and qualifications of each employee.

Qualifications
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
- Leading or serving on teams as a subject matter analyst to provide information with data-driven guidance;
- Leading or serving on teams/projects related to customer experience management activities;
- Providing guidance and making recommendations on communication strategies and products to senior leadership.
