Summary:
We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in Power BI or similar software and a background in manufacturing. The role requires the ability to integrate and relate data from multiple systems for comprehensive analysis and to distill complex information into simple, actionable insights. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience with Oracle Cloud are a plus and will aid in identifying and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive business insights, focusing on manufacturing and operational performance.
- Develop, design, and maintain BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, intuitive and actionable visualizations of key performance indicators (KPIs) and enable actionable decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and finance, to understand business needs and create effective data solutions.
- Integrate and analyze data from multiple systems (such as ERP, MES, and CRM systems), ensuring data accuracy and coherence for more comprehensive insights.
- Transform complex data sets and business processes into simplified, user-friendly visuals that support clear understanding and action.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify areas for process improvement, contributing to efficiency and waste reduction initiatives.
- Aid in root cause analysis of business problems, particularly in production and supply chain, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Provide regular reporting and present insights to senior management and stakeholders to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain business dashboards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Integrate and analyze data from Oracle Cloud, supporting more comprehensive insights for manufacturing and business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and data analysis tools to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- +3 experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in BI software like Power BI, with the ability to build, customize, and simplify complex data into intuitive reports, interactive dashboards, and visual management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data modeling and data visualization.
- Experience in integrating and relating data from multiple systems for cross-functional analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to take complex information and translate it into actionable, user-friendly visuals.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Visual Management, Pull Systems, Kanbans, Kaizen) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.
Skills
- Experience with ERP systems, SQL, or other data tools is an advantage.
- ERP data mining, SQL, data analytics.
- Certification in Power BI, Oracle Cloud, or lean manufacturing methodologies (such as Six Sigma) is a plus.
