Salary: $25 - $30 per hour

The IT Helpdesk Technician is responsible for providing technical support to end-users, managing ticket requests, assisting with ongoing projects, and implementing process documentation. This role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical support to customers for computer hardware and software issues.
Manage and resolve ticket requests in Jira, escalating to TierII/Tier III support when necessary.
Maintain and administer internal infrastructure requirements including laptops, desktops, servers, printers, phones and other IT assets.
Support and administer Microsoft technologies, Intune, and virtual environments.
Create and document best practices and support procedures.
Offer after-hours and weekend support for emergencies as needed.
Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
Carry out special tasks as directed by management.
Support mobile devices, specifically iPhones.
Work schedule: Tuesday through Saturday

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft A+, Network+, or similar).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in documentation.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
Excellent organizational skills with project management capabilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in computer science or related field preferred.
Experience in Jira Service Management.
Knowledge in Active Directory/SAML user and group administration.
Familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
