About the Role
The Director of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) will be responsible for leading and optimizing the integrated business planning process to ensure alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management. This role will play a critical part in driving operational efficiency, meeting customer demands, and supporting the company's strategic objectives in the rapidly evolving space industry.Key Responsibilities:
Execute the monthly management of the S&OP process
Capturing the status and challenges in a monthly dashboard to the S&OP, Committee teams.
Ensure standardized templates and data sources are developed and executed each month within the agreed calendar allowing issues and actions to be raised holistically to each department and ultimately OPCO.
Execute the key “Control Tower” sequence with Finance ensuring buy-in from each Finance sub-team, and consistent story/message build on the S&OP issues and actions.
Preparation of a variety of monthly S&OP reports suitable for presentation for senior management, combining demand and supply topics.
Responsible for compiling data from different sources, analyzing data, and providing insights.
Develop insightful reporting to measure business performance and provide business recommendations for improvement and/or innovation.
Liaise with the different departments and outside stakeholders and partners to follow up on any challenges or discrepancies within the data. Participate in/lead ad-hoc analytical projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and operations planning, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably in the aerospace or high-tech industry.
Proven track record of leading and optimizing S&OP processes in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in S&OP software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
