Duties
- Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
- Oversee and direct the execution of program activities, ensuring that all deliverables are met in alignment with the program's objectives.
- Spearhead efforts to identify and implement synergies and process improvements, making high-level, data-driven decisions that advance the program and NASAโs strategic goals.
- Take a leadership role in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks, and provide clear communication to senior leadership about potential impacts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Mission Directorate and Center Liaisons, working to secure alignment on priorities and identifying areas for collaborative action that support the programโs strategic vision.
- Work across units and teams as needed, fostering an environment of collaboration, and ensuring that team activities are coordinated efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
- Assisting with implementation of plans, processes, and schedules to ensure program or project execution readiness;
- Assisting with stakeholder coordination and communication across various levels of an organization;
- Following program policies to ensure efficiency and compliance.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level:
- Implementing plans, processes, and schedules to ensure program or project execution readiness;
- Working closely with stakeholders and communicating across various levels of an organization;
- Analyzing and implementing program policy to ensure efficiency and compliance.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
- Creating or overseeing implementation plans, processes, and schedules to ensure program or project execution readiness;
- Managing relationships with high-level stakeholders, including senior management, external partners, and key organizational leaders;
- Creating program policy and/or implementing existing program policies to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Education
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
Additional information
This appointment may be extended beyond the initial appointment date, for a period not to exceed a total of six years.
