Position Description: The Product Manager will lead and oversee the development, implementation, and management of our product strategies and product management plans of Voyager Space Exploration OEM product lines. This role is responsible for guiding products through their current lifecycle, managing continual market release and support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aerospace industry, a clear understanding of current product management practices, and a demonstrated track record of successful product improvement and strategy implementation.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development
- Develop and implement the company's product strategy to support business goals.
- Lead and inspire the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Oversee the development and execution of product projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Create and oversee product management & lifecycle plans for company products.
Market Analysis and Research
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and prioritize product initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze market and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Identify and evaluate product modification opportunities and their potential impact on the company/industry.
Innovation and Improvement
- Identifies and assesses opportunities for innovation based on product knowledge.
- Determine configuration changes to be made for all products in scope
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the product management team.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with other departments to ensure product performance and initiatives align with business objectives.
- Communicate product strategy and progress to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and other external stakeholders.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the organization.
- Ensures effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of multiple teams.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering, systems engineering, or science required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management roles, with at least 5 years in the aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of leading successful product initiatives and projects.
- Deep understanding of the aerospace market, including industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in advanced product management and software development methodologies.
- Experience with market analysis and competitive analysis.
Preferences:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with commercial spaceflight and space station operations.
- Knowledge of international aerospace markets and regulations.
- Strong network within the aerospace industry.
