About The Position 

The Master Scheduler will work closely with Chief Engineers, Program Managers, and technical leads to develop, manage, and maintain integrated schedules for the Near Space Network Services contract. This individual will ensure alignment across projects, track progress against milestones, and provide critical insights to support decision-making. Prior experience in the space industry, NASA, or the Department of Defense (DoD) is highly preferred. Also preferred would be financial and project acumen. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, maintain, and update the master program schedule for the Lunar Data Network and associated initiatives.
  • Integrate individual project schedules into a cohesive master schedule, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives.
  • Track progress against milestones, identifying schedule risks and potential delays.
  • Collaborate with Chief Engineers, Program Managers, and technical leads to define and update schedules based on project needs.
  • Provide regular schedule updates, status reports, and insights to program leadership.
  • Analyze schedule performance data and propose corrective actions to address variances.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual schedule requirements and reporting standards.
  • Monitor and track project performance against schedule baselines, identifying and addressing potential risks.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-to-complete assessments

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling or project management in the aerospace, NASA, or DoD environment.
  • Expertise in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent software.
  • Familiarity with financial management, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and programmatic teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with space systems, satellite communication, or ground station operations.
  • Familiarity with NASA or DoD scheduling standards and requirements.
  • 8+ year of experience preferred
