Red Canyon Software is looking to hire several mid-senior level engineers to help NOAA's Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) spacecraft achieve it's goals in helping expand our observations of the Earth and address environmental issues. Ideally, you have a technical B.S. degree and ~5+ years of "Process Engineering" experience (Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Engineering, or Project Management), and a passion for aerospace!

Location: Littleton, CO, hybrid schedule may be considered

Week: 40 hours, 4/10 schedule (every Friday off)

Contract: Feb 2025 - Oct 2027

Responsibilities:

Develop core program mission assurance requirements and guide engineering counterparts to meet those requirements
Drawing Reviews, Spec development, release support
Support production, supply chain, and the final assembly and test of the satellite vehicle to ensure the success of the mission
Supplier Quality engagement including oversight and engagement on key issues
Lead root cause analysis and drive effective corrective action to improve processes
Analyze and generate quality metrics that might detect actionable trends in our processes
Analyze processes using lean six sigma concepts to reduce variation and improve consistency within processes
Drive process improvement to improve product quality and consistency
PDR & CDR support
MWI development and review
Test Procedure development and review
Nonconformance management including leadership of PR / MRB / FRBs
