What will you do in this role?
In this role, you will support the company's growth as we continue to scale our Engineering Test Team. We are looking for a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join us in our Espoo office. The Engineering Test Team is responsible to qualify the new technologies before introducing them in the production line, as well as the necessary test equipment. The team also supports the AIT activities of the new satellite generations.
You will work closely with engineers from other domains to ensure continuous improvements of our test equipment. As a Senior Electronics Test Engineer you will be in charge of designing the qualification test plan, manage and perform the test campaign of the new satellite technologies. Also, you will document the test results, prepare the needed documentation for the internal reviews and ensure the knowledge transfer to our satellite production line. Besides, you will design the proper test equipment and setup to make the tests as efficient as possible including automation.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Manage new technologies qualification campaigns, maintaining the timeline, leading periodic meetings and mitigating related risks.
- Design qualification plans to validate power, digital, and mixed-signal electronics against design requirements.
- Document test procedures, test results, assembly procedures and all the related documentation for our internal reviews.
- Performing data analysis after test results, conducting root cause analysis on failures, and presenting results to key stakeholders.
- Provide feedback to designers
- EGSE design, data acquisition systems, custom test hardware and software; all of which are required to enable effective and scalable test automation solutions.
- Mentoring of the new joiners

Requirements
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- Bsc/MSc degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in the area of testing, test automation, and electronics.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading R&D projects.
- Experience as an electronics test engineer and/or electronics design engineer.
- Experience developing automated tests and the complete test development life cycle of products.
- Experience with test jig and fixture design.
- Experience with microcontrollers programming.
- PCB design with Altium or a similar electronics design (EDA) tool.
- SPICE-based circuit simulation.
- Testing a custom electronics system with a wide variety of lab equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers, thermal chambers, and others.
- Performing root-cause analysis on failures.
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn new things.
- Experience mentoring less experienced team members.
- Suits well in multicultural environments
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.

- Base salary range for this position is 5000-6000 euros per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
