Job description

Duties

Assist with identifying activities that will be involved in providing needed transportation logistical support.
Review plans for and provision of transportation logistical support to assist with evaluating feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required.
Monitor progress toward meeting the transportation logistics plan. Help identify cause and impact of delays or other problems (varying degrees of responsibility for taking actions to prevent or overcome such problems may also be included).
Assist with adjusting plans and/or schedules for related actions as required due to delays or changes to transportation logistics requirements.
Provide reporting to management on all transportation logistics activities.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-07, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level:

Assisting with reviewing transportation objectives and/or documentation for accuracy;
Assisting with reviewing transportation equipment and/or acquisition replacement of equipment;
Monitoring fuel tank levels and customer usage of fuel.

OR
b) Completed 1 full academic year of graduate study in an appropriate field
OR
c) Completed a bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and meet Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) criteria. SAA: (1) you must be in the upper third of your graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision; or (2) you must have a 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 GPA; or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 GPA based on courses completed in your major field of study during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or (3) election to membership in a national scholastic honor society: https://www.achshonor.org/
OR
d) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study in an appropriate field
