WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

The RF Team Lead – Ground Segment and Operations is responsible for leading a small diverse team of engineers and technicians responsible for:

1) designing, establishing and maintaining ground stations and related infrastructure; and

2) ensuring mission operational readiness of standard launch vehicle TT&C systems and associated ground stations.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, majoring in electronics/ communications/RF or similar
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to apply fundamental RF knowledge including cascaded device analysis, link analysis, modulation and coding schemes, etc, to the development of real world RF systems
  • Experience testing RF modules and systems
  • Experience operating RF test equipment including VNAs and spectrum analyzers
  • Experience applying best practice systems engineering process and developing associated documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents and/or test plans
  • Knowledge of IP networking
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
