Job description

Omitron is seeking a Scrum Master to lead and facilitate Agile practices for a defense contract program supporting critical national security objectives, joining our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of complex systems and solutions.

Responsibilities:

ScrumMaster for Test, Training, and Exercise (TTX) for an Agile development product team
Remove impediments and ensure development is moving along.
Interface with multiple teammates to coordinate development activities.
Interface with Product Owner, Development Team, Systems Engineering, and Senior Management.
Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Support and plan Agile sprints to break software development tasks into logical and efficient software packages supporting a wide variety of satellite safety tasks.
Be adaptable to changing priorities in development activities
Understanding of Java, Application Development, and object-oriented programming principles.

Minimum Requirements:

US Citizenship required
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance
Education: Bachelor's degree with experience in software engineering or software development with Java
Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience

Desired Qualifications:

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or ScrumMaster experience
Strong skill set with Jira
Strong skill set with Confluence
Red Hat Linux and Windows experience
Familiarity with DevOps Pipelines
Familiarity with Test Automation Framework (TAF) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Familiarity with development tools such as Gitlab, Maven, and IDEs such as IntelliJ
Familiarity with web technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
Experience serving government customers a plus
Current TS/SCI security clearance
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000, depending on relevant experience, location, and other factors.
