Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Training Representative to support the development of training materials for the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program. As a principal training representative, you will work along side a team of training representatives, team lead, and collaborate with internal and external stake holders to develop, document, and conduct a training curriculum for the customer.
As a principal training representative, you will be able to:
- Design and deliver programs to train all levels of personnel.
- Develop tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
- Keep abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- Develop in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
- May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
- May support in the development of e-learning programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance at time of application
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tool suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to comprehend complicated systems and develop training material suitable for the targeted end use
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%
- Experience supporting the development of military training programs
- Experience developing training materials for military systems
- Familiarity with Government Data Item Description DI-ILSS-81070
- Familiarity with Government Data Item Description DI-ILSS-80872
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-1379 requirements or MIL-HDBK-1379 guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience as a Radar Systems Operator
- Experience as a Satellite Operator
- Experience course instructor
