SUMMARY
This is a contract role for 3-4 months with possible extension. Full time Monday - Friday. As a key member of the Human Resources team at Firefly Aerospace, the Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for helping to schedule the screenings, interviews and travel, to help us build an outstanding candidate experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
For this role you will support the recruitment lifecycle by managing key elements of the candidate experience including coordination of interviews, completion of pre-employment processes and travel for candidates traveling to our sites to be interviewed. You will be a key point of contact for candidates at all stages of the hiring process. Key duties include:
- Facilitate initial screening of applicants.
- Perform all aspects of organizing candidate interviews via phone, virtual, and on-site visits at various Firefly locations.
- Schedule travel which includes purchasing airline tickets, hotel and arranging car rentals for candidates.
- Filing receipts with accounting in a timely manner
- Data entry, including updating the HRIS system with candidate status and feedback notes.
- Embrace both internal and external software applications with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Experience in coordinating in a fast-paced environment
- 1 year previous experience supporting HR in a recruiting coordination role or similar.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast paced, professional environment
- Must be well versed in using common office applications such as Outlook (Calendars), Excel, and Google Apps.
- Strong day-to-day operations experience and ability to follow process.
- Excellent attention to detail and be very well organized.
- Demonstrated track record of providing extraordinary customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to exercise tact, discretion and the initiative to efficiently meet the demands of multiple internal customers
- Pro-active nature and the ability to follow through on assignment completion
