Summary
The Regional Facilities & Safety Manager oversees the enterprise-wide Facilities Management activities for Redwire. This position will assist in managing facilities across all of our locations in the US including work order completion, database management, budgeting, capacity planning, maintain required records, liaison with landlords, overall maintenance, safety and OSHA compliance. This position will be based out of our Longmont CO facility, with the expectation of a minimum of one to two days per week, as needed, at our Littleton CO site. There will also be occasional out of state travel to other Redwire Locations.
Will be responsible for overseeing preventative and reactive maintenance for Redwire locations. Ensures Facilities department activities and methodologies, create value for Redwire, as well as aligns with business goals and objectives through expertise with facility infrastructure. Implements policies or procedures that enforce regulatory and corporate policy compliance. Maximizes operational efficiencies, improves service quality and delivery, and manages risks through oversight of facility activities, and recommends industry best practices.
The Facilities & Safety Manager will also help develop and maintain the Redwire Health and Safety Program, policies, and practices with a goal in reducing risk of accidents in our working environments. This role will support and foster a culture of safety and accountability while ensuring compliance with all OSHA, federal/state/local laws and general industry standards.
Additionally, the Facilities & Safety Manager will manage Facilities vendors and contractors, including maintaining records and contracts, ensuring permits and required insurance are in place, coordinating project activities, and providing scheduling support. General support, maintenance, and expansion of facilities will also be provided as needed.
Responsibilities
- Facility Support - Ensure that all facilities services and repair activities are effectively delivered, and facilities needs are met across multiple Redwire locations
- Assist in the development of the Facilities playbook and standards guidelines
- Manage preventative maintenance plans for HVAC systems, and general building maintenance
- Oversee space management and vendor contracts and services such as security and janitorial
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility upgrades and renovations
- Provide project management support as needed
- Ensure facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and proactively address compliance issues. Advise sites and business units of safety best practices.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA reporting
- Coordinate inspections and audits of facilities to detect existing or potential accident, fire, safety, and health hazards (Including Lock Out Tag Out, SDS, PPE and Hazardous Materials)
- Investigate and report all safety incidents and accidents
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, and other crises
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans
- Assist Redwire sites in managing and maintaining safety equipment and supplies
- Assist with new employee badging, building access control, and onboarding
- Some limited travel will be required
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 or more years of experience, with a minimum of 5 or more years’ in industrial facilities management (manufacturing, R&D, clean rooms, etc.). Willing to consider relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experienced in facilities management and best practices in industry trends
- General building knowledge (HVAC systems, electrical systems)
- Has knowledge of EH&S operations including OSHA regulations
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with security systems, access controls systems
- Experience preparing emergency action plans and facilitating audits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Design and construction experience
- Experience in managing multiple facilities and projects
- General knowledge of OSHA reporting
- Preferred Certifications: OSHA, CSP, CoreNet, BOMA, and/or IFMA
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, facility management and/or real estate software

Pay Range
$103,500 - $142,500/yr.

Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
