What We Need
Kymeta is looking for a Customer & Sales Support Specialist. As the Customer & Sales Support Specialist for the leading flat panel satellite antenna and service company, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, providing exceptional customer support, and assisting the military and commercial sales team with administrative tasks related to satellite services and products. This position involves engaging with clients, understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring a seamless process from initial inquiry to post-sale support.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer Relationship Management: 
    • Maintain ongoing communication with existing customers to nurture relationships, increase customer retention, and expand sales opportunities.
    • Provide product consultations and recommendations, explaining the technical benefits of satellite hardware products.
  • Sales Support and Coordination: 
    • Collaborate with the field sales team, technical support, and product managers to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
    • Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for customers.
    • Monitor and track orders through the entire sales cycle, ensuring timely delivery and service.
    • Support the global sales team with customer support issues are required.
  • Sales Development: 
    • Identify, prospect and support new and existing customers
    • Qualify inbound leads and generate outbound sales opportunities via phone, email, and other communication channels.
    • Understand customer needs and align them with the appropriate hardware products and services.
  • Market Intelligence and Reporting: 
    • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to stay informed on the latest satellite hardware solutions and technologies.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and sales activities in CRM software.
    • Report on sales performance, key metrics, and opportunities for business development to management.
  • Product Knowledge: 
    • Stay up to date with satellite hardware products, technology advancements, and industry regulations.
    • Provide training to customers on product features and benefits, ensuring they understand the technical aspects of the products.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Knowledge of satellite communication technologies, including satellite links, antennas, transceivers, and other related hardware.
  • Experience working with government, defense and telecommunications industries is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience with the ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets, preferably in the satellite hardware or technology sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
  • CRM Experience: Proficient in using Salesforce CRM software to track sales activities and customer information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot customer challenges and multi-task several issues simultaneously.
EDUCATION
  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, or a related field
COMPENSATION 
Kymeta is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In the spirit of pay transparency, we have determined the salary range for this position to be $80,000 - $130,000. This is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would be atypical, in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. Compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and geography. The total compensation package for this position includes an annual target bonus of 10%, stock options, and benefits listed below. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
