Position Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Marketing Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing conference booths, trade shows, internal company events, external events, and team travels for the events. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, build strong relationships with vendors and partners, and deliver exceptional events will be crucial to your success. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our company and skilled at creating events that not only highlight our innovation in propulsion, but also invoke inspiration in humanities future. This role would answer to the Marketing Specialist and would work closely with the Business Development and C Suite team.
Responsibilities:
Conferences & Trade Shows:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of conferences and trade shows including, booth management, logistics, on-site execution, travel, and work with the marketing and sales team on booth design.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and event organizers to ensure smooth setup, operation, and teardown of exhibits.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Handle around 18 conferences a year with 3-4 being high priority, ensuring all elements align with company goals.
- Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess event success and areas for improvement.
Internal Company Events:
- Organize and execute internal events such as team-building activities and company-wide meetings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, themes, and agendas.
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation.
- Handle around 1-2 internal events a month, working with HR and Marketing teams.
External Events:
- Plan and execute external events such as hiring events, community educational opportunities, customer events, and open houses.
- Coordinate with marketing and engineering team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all events.
- Track event performance and gather feedback to continuously improve future events.
- Handle around 1-2 external events a month, most of them being small scale with a few a year being larger scale.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning or role with similar responsibilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional ability to structure and manage tasks efficiency, ensuring streamlined operations and effective time management.
- Proven track record of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively coordinate efforts and drive projects forward.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Experience managing conference and/or trade shows.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods.
- Capability to stand, walk, and navigate various terrains during event setups and site visits.
- Physical ability to assist with or supervise the setup and teardown of event materials, including lifting and carrying items up to 80 lbs.
- Flexibility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and adapt to changing conditions.
Employment Type: Exempt
Salary Range: $60,000-75,000
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Agile Space Industries is an equal opportunity employer.

Remote: This position is on-site with some flexibility to work from home as needed and approved by supervisor.
