Position Overview (Summary/Objective):
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled HRIS professional to manage all aspects of the company’s HRIS. ARKA uses UKG to manage Core HR, Recruiting & Onboarding, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Compensation, Employee files, and Employee Voice. Successful candidate will be skilled and experienced with UKG and be able to ensure compliance, data integrity and the most effective and efficient use of the system to address business needs. Position will also manage HR data analytics in support of the company’s need for accurate and timely people data to support all areas of HR decision making.
Responsibilities:
HRIS
- Fully leverage UKG capabilities to meet the demands of the business collaborating with the HR team and other key stakeholders throughout the company.
- Partner with UKG and, as appropriate, external vendors on all system needs and solutions to maximize system efficiency and improve operational performance.
- Implement and maintain all feeds in/out of UKG working closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate communication, efficiency and accuracy of all data coming into and out of the system.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Active participation in company’s change control board.
- Implement new HRIS modules and upgrades.
- Lead integration between UKG and other company systems to include time keeping and ERP systems.
- Ensure data integrity (via regular audits and corrective actions).
- Manage all system configurations (i.e., annual enrollment).
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to HRIS users.
- Manage permissions, access and settings for HRIS users. Train HR users on required modules for their roles.
- Lead HRIS integration for new acquisitions.
Data Analytics
- Oversee all HR reporting.
- Fulfill monthly/quarterly data requests from internal and external partners.
- Provide reports and analysis for quarterly reporting to leadership.
- In partnership with staffing, create and maintain staffing dashboard.
- Manage requests for data in support of audits.
- Fulfill adhoc requests for data analytics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing HRIS systems with at least 3 years experience with UKG systems.
- Proficiency in UKG to include HR Core, Benefits Prime, Recruiting & Onboarding, BI Reporting, Employee Files, Employee Voice, Performance, and Compensation.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to CMMC and regulations regarding employee data privacy, including GDPR.
- Strong understanding of proper release management (i.e., test scripts, regression testing) as it pertains to the HRIS, integrated systems, and system which consume HRIS data).
- Experience in writing procedures and training others.
- Experience in integrating external systems into established HRIS platform.
- Advanced excel skills with demonstrated ability to translate raw data into dashboards and other formats which effectively convey key information, trends, and other data to drive decision making.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate to system requirements.
- Excellent communication skills across functions and internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PowerBI experience in UKG.
