SUMMARY

Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Axiom Station PPTM Production Lead who is fueled by problem-solving, continuous curiosity, and a drive to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as the primary Production contact for the overall execution of the Power, Payload, and Thermal Module (PPTM) from final design, through build, test, launch, and activation

• Aids in strategy, planning, infrastructure, development, staffing, capabilities, utilization, and operations in support of their assigned Station Module

• Manages and communicates lab and production schedules, escalation of issues, across multiple production functions (manufacturing, assembly, test, etc)

• Establish priorities and sequencing of operations for effectiveness

• Help mature organization through development of standard work

• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical, aerospace, or other related field

• 10+ years of leadership, management, or program experience

• Demonstrative ability to lead and manage execution on complex programs over multiple locations

• Experience providing strategic road mapping for application of process improvements across diverse engineering disciplines

• Leadership experience involving a multi-disciplinary technical team

• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail

• Experience working in an Agile work environment preferred

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
