As part of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, this position in the mission operations area of Reentry Systems will focus on Reentry Surveillance, Age Management, and Reentry Development Programs.
In this role, you will:
• Support of field centers and facilities and supporting the operational readiness and safety of the Navy's Strategic Weapons Systems
• Support problem investigations, to include root cause analysis and corrective action implementation support
• Support activities involving surveillance and monitoring of deployed systems, watching for changes or degradation to the system
• Develop new ideas for more affordable and efficient operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience and exposure to one or more Systems Engineering processes and Systems Integration functions at the enterprise / SoS level, including:
a) Mission-level requirements analysis and definition of top-level interfaces among major system components
b) SoS-level Integration, Test and/or Verification of requirements across major interfaces
c) Verification/ validation planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
d) Design reviews/ control gates
e) Mission Operations Support/Deployed System Support
f) Hardware problem investigations/root cause investigations
Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Highly motivated and dedicated to completion of tasks to a high standard. The successful candidate must have strong technical skills. Candidate must have the ability to work well with own team, as well as other departments, organization, and customers.
Experience with procurement processes of DoD Hardware
Experience with hardware acceptance and qualification
Previous experience with the FBM Program
Proficiency with presenting to customers
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
