Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA! This is an exempt position that will be performed on a 9x80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and write programs for numerically controlled machines using engineering specifications and drawings.
• Analyze engineering drawings to define configuration of parts and determine type and sequence of machine operations.
• Develop programs for machining parts, tools, or sheet metal on numerically controlled machine tools.
• Make proper cutter selections for each part, taking into consideration such factors as speeds, types of cutters, feeds, and control system limitations.
• Select program routines for the most efficient computer calculation of dimensional and machining requirements for each part.
• Test and modify existing parts programs for engineering changes or program improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with CNC Machining Processes
• Experience with programming 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC equipment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Siemens NX, MasterCam, or NCL
• Ability to multi-task, outstanding effective interpersonal skills, and a consistent track record of teambuilding
• Experience with Mazak and Siemens based controllers is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate, resolve issues and deliver presentations to a diverse set of customers regarding complex technical issues.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-organization relationships.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement projects.
• Experience leading the development and implementation of new tools and processes
• Experienced in tooling and fixturing designs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
