Boeing is seeking a Facilities Project Administrator (Associate or Mid-Level) to join its team in New Orleans, LA in support of the Space Launch Systems program. This is a full-time on-site position supporting a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility in an assembly environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Project Administrator to support the facilities team with projects and oversight of contracted services. The successful candidate would be a quick learner with a focus on customer service who enjoys the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks both as an individual and as part of a team.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads facilities projects from pre-construction planning through project execution to project closeout
Coordinates ongoing project tasks and serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders (i.e. customer, affected parties, general contractors, external suppliers, Informational Technology (IT), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and Security)
Monitors day-to-day contractor field activities against the approved plans and specifications
Schedules construction activities in assembly areas and notifies affected parties of all impacts like utility outages, hot work or underground work
Leads weekly informational facility meetings to receive new requests and provides status of approved projects
Develops work package that can include budget/funding source, schedule, drawings, specifications, statement of work and estimates
Works with project stakeholders to define requirements
Recommends appropriate actions to stakeholders to satisfy project goals and objectives
Maintains and provides information to update use and occupancy tracking system
Solicits headcount projections and business plans to enable forecasting for Company space and facility requirements
Prepares management briefings to communicate project(s) status, identifies issues and solicits help for resolution
Serves as a participant in leadership meetings for Boeing initiatives at the facility
Executes work in compliance with scope, budget and schedule requirements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills and Experience)
Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills and Experience)
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in infrastructure or facilities management
Experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks
Experience with Microsoft Project and Access
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience monitoring and coordinating implementation activities such as relocations, construction, utility shutdowns, budget management, schedule, and project reviews
Experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion
Capability to work independently
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $68,850 - $93,150
Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $87,750 - $118,450
