Our LM Space Command and Control (C2) team at Hill AFB, UT has a need for a software engineer who can help innovate, automate, and visualize next-generation satellite and ground C2 systems. The Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test, and debug software on real-world and prototype systems.
This position is very collaborative, working across Lockheed Martin with products supporting all-domain and advanced technology teams driving the state-of-the-art in industry. Familiarity with database, networks, or information systems is desired in order to efficiently integrate these capabilities into rapidly-fieldable platforms. Experience with user interface and 3D graphics visualization tools is also helpful.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications:
• Cross-team, collaborative communications experience
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related degree
• This position requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level clearance
Desired Skills:
• Desire to work on future capabilities with rapid prototyping and demonstration
• Database management experience
• Kubernetes deployment experience
• Network design experience
• Modeling and Simulation experience
• Reinforcement Learning control systems experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
