Description:This position requires the ability to pass a government national background check and obtain Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

This position is 2nd shift with approximate work hours Monday through Friday between 11am - 8pm.


Program Security Representative responsibilities include:

- Assist in preparing security plans outlining regulations and established procedures for all areas of the security department.
- Support all aspects of security to include personnel, physical, technical and visitor control.
- Develop security education programs and conduct security training.
- Investigate security incidents and violations; prepare reports of investigations for leaders and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.
- Prepare operating procedures outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for the handling, storing, and transportation of program assets.
- Assist with document and program asset administration and accountability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to pass a government national background check and obtain Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work 2nd shift with approximate work hours between 11am - 8pm.
• Experience badging and access control.
• Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with senior level internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Some program travel may be required.
• Must be available to respond after hours and be on call.
Desired Skills:
• Familiar with NASA Electronic Security Systems and NASA Area Management System.
• Experience with DISS, SIMS, and Intrusion Detection Systems, and Access Control Systems
• Have a good knowledge of the movement of sensitive and flight hardware to ensure mission success.
• Ability to work with LM Space management and other government organizations to ensure our overall success as is relates to schedules and future milestones.
• Have the ability to interact with management and various government agencies at a high level.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
