As a Distribution Manager- Manager Level 1, located in Magna, UT you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
Your Role and Impact:
- Oversee the coordination and movement of material, hardware, and finished goods throughout the site while ensuring process/procedural compliance safeguarding both personnel and product
- Manage a team to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee, Cost targets are achieved
- Oversee employees, processes, and equipment and warehouse
- Conduct briefings and participate in program meetings with representatives concerning material issues, supplier performance, and manufacturing/ programmatic risks or constraints
- Interface with DCMA, manufacturing supervision and site leadership to support program/site needs, process improvements, and resource management
- Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise - Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience leading a team, project or process
- Inventory control and MRP experience
- Shipping and logistics experience
- Inventory storage and management experience that includes shelf-life requirements and tight environmental controls
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Note: This position falls under a Federal Explosives License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for this location. Candidates hired into this role will be required to complete and submit an Employee Possessor Questionnaire to ATF for approval to be a possessor.

- 49 CFR Hazardous material regulator knowledge
- Rocket motor parts/material and applicable storage requirement knowledge
- Experience managing storage requirements for explosives

Salary Range: $82,100.00 - $123,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
