Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (Design and Test). In this role, you will work on a team that identifies requirements for building complex systems, work with designers to ensure the system being built meets customer needs, and devise and execute the testing to verify that the system meets those needs. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of describing and assessing complex systems, strong communication skills, and a passion for problem solving. The successful candidate must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering)
- Basic understanding of complex computer-based systems
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and understand systems requirements
- Candidate must possess a TS/SCI clearance to start
Desired Skills:
- Experience with analysis of computer systems capabilities and characteristics
- Experience in defining test techniques for computer systems
- Basic understanding of government acquisition processes and lifecycle
- TS/SCI w/Poly
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
