Description:This position is on the Strata Integration and Test team, and will collaborate with the customer, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates and stakeholders to ensure Strata deliveries are free from unidentified defects, and that Strata products interface with external systems and users as designed according to contractual requirements. Successful candidates for this position will have training (BS) in a science or technology related discipline, experience in performing software testing and writing test procedures. This position will requires the ability to physically access the Herndon DEP II facility.
The ideal candidate will perform system testing, author test plans, support test automation activities, and participate in external systems' testing activities that involve Strata products. The candidate will be expected to test multiple products across multiple platforms, such as Windows and Linux and work independently to determine and develop innovative approaches to assess and validate requirement compliance, performance and scalability goal, and will have a familiarity with running both manual and automated test procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
• Understanding of testing activities and processes
• Experience testing software (manual or automated)
• Experience with the SAFe Agile Processes and Agile Programs/Projects
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with a final TS required to start.
Desired Skills:
• Geospatial Intelligence and/or NGA Customer experience
• Familiar with Red Had Linux environments
• Experience working with cloud environments, particularly for Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Geospatial visualization applications, GIS technologies (Google Earth, ArcGIS, OpenLayers, Cesium) , and/or Geospatial Visualization domain knowledge
• Experience coordinating and integrating with external segments to deliver enterprise capabilities
• Experience with test automation
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and job functions; bridging both sustainment and enhancement priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
