We’re on the hunt for a Python Test Data Processing Developper on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role:
Your initial mandate will require a skillset enabling you to develop test data processing software in Windows, using Python, for the test automation of various satellite payloads. You will interact with large multidisciplinary teams and will need to develop an understanding of hardware measurements, including network analyzer, spectrum analyzer and oscilloscopes.
Responsibilities:
- Create\Modify data processing scripts that automate pass/fail criteria on complex satellite payloads
- Develop and integrate test data automation solutions to support high volume production of flight hardware
- Read and understand detailed requirement documents
- Understand the system under test
- Plan work, provide effort estimates and drive your work to completion
- Design, code, test, debug and document high-quality software
- Prepare documentation and participate in reviews
- Participate in integration, testing and deployment of test data processing
- Assist in troubleshooting problems in a software production environment
Requirements:
- A University degree in Software/Computer Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
OR
- A University degree in Electrical/Physics Engineering with a specialisation in software (Masters degree, advanced classes or experience)
AND
- Minimum of 2 years of software development experience in Python
- Knowledge of automated system functional testing, ideally in RF or telecom
- Ability to work with an existing code base\framework
- The ability to understand and work with complex software requirement specifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills ideally both in English and French
- Experience working with Excel
Assets:
- Experience with RF measurements
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with GIT and Jenkins
- Experience with agile software development
- Knowledge of SciPy, pandas and parquet file format
- Knowledge of C#
- Functional level with Matlab

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
