The Lockheed Martin Space team in Littleton, CO (Deer Creek) seeks an early career level Program Planner to support the Conventional Prompt Strike Program within its Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business that will have the size and scope to offer valuable career development experiences. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….
• Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in order to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner
• Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms
required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting goals
• Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues that
arise, communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable program partners
• Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to the implementation of the Program
• Schedule presentations which may include Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Stakeholders
• Establish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for
surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management
• Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
• Producing and Delivering IPMR CDRLs (Integrated Program Management Report and Contract Deliverable Requirements List)
Our level 2 employees typically have 3-6 years of experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of previous planning/scheduling experience
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, and program start-up activities
• Experience with a planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, Milestone Pro, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel, Power Point, Word or other comparable software)
• Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management techniques
• Experience delivering briefings to team members and project teams
• Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline
• Exposure to Network scheduling software (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc)
• Critical Path Scheduling methodology
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
• Integrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledge
• Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations
• Earned Value Management
• Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development
Proposal knowledge

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $61,300 - $117,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
