Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a Systems Engineer in Aurora, Colorado. We need an individual with a thorough understanding of systems engineering processes, an ability to identify and resolve system-level performance issues, an ability to conduct root-cause analysis, and capture new functional requirements for enhancements and innovation. You will provide system-level engineering support to various systems related activities and sub-functions to include; system execution, monitoring and reporting, administration, and assessments.
The successful candidate will work with developers and customers to troubleshoot, track, and resolve system related discrepancy reports. Create, use, and maintain, system related strategies to support delivery of new capabilities and regression testing efforts. Support change processes and delivery cycles including commenting against Request For Change (RFCs) supporting Operational Readiness Demonstrations (ORDs), Operational Acceptance Reviews (OARs), and other lifecycle processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will Coordinate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with multiple development teams, key customer representatives, and other system users to address system level changes, testing, and functionality. Daily functions may include the following (but are not limited to):
• Develop and implement results to complex
problems
• Recommend system-level improvements and
enhancements
• Maintain and facilitate the implementation of systems
related administrative processes
• User and system advocate
• Collaborate with various groups, customers,
and teams
• Coordinate user and customer facing
engagement opportunities
• Capture, analyze, and present systems
performance metrics
• Maintain cognizance of specific systems status
and functionality
• Routinely apply critical thinking and problem
solving skills
• Support Concept of Operations (CONOP)
updates and provide applicable improvements
• Functionally utilize; systems related resources,
discrepancy reporting tools, and data analysis
tools (i.e. SPLUNK, KIBANA, etc.)Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Basic Qualifications:
• Prior data analytics experience.
• Prior experience with general data capture and
visualization tools.
• Teaming experience.
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Must have active TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
• Engineering or similar technical degree.
• Experience with metrics, log analysis, and data
capture.
• Experience with general and regression system
testing.
• Experience with discrepancy tracking and
management.
• System Related Tools.
• Domain Experience

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
