PEOPLE & CULTURE (HR)/LEGAL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Based onsite at Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the People & Culture/Legal Coordinator will assist with daily operations of the human resources and legal departments and support senior and executive level leadership. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
- Support day-to-day People & Culture (HR) and Legal operations at Rocket Lab’s corporate headquarters.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries, requests and coordinate between departments seeking services.
- Maintain and assist in managing calendars, preparing presentations, and facilitating meetings.
- Assist in preparing required reports, policies, correspondence, and communications.
- Support Board of Director meetings and other onsite corporate events.
- Maintain content on internal website for People & Culture and Legal Departments and coordinate IT services and requests.
- Coordinate records and information requests for the P&C Department and act as liaison with outside entities and vendors, as needed.
- Participate in P&C and Legal projects and initiatives to improve processes and create efficiencies.
- Plan travel itineraries and make travel arrangements both domestically and internationally and assist with expense reports.
- Host guests and assist with special projects relating to guests/visitors.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years’ experience in an HR or legal support role and a Bachelor’s degree.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and other)
THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment, public corporation experience a plus
- High level of integrity and discretion
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be physically able to commute to buildings
- Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise.
Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
