Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career or Summer 2025 Intern for Electrical Test Engineer (Aerospace). In this role, you will work with the Orion Spacecraft production test team executing acceptance tests, developing test procedures, updating test scripts and providing critical support to the Orion program. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of test equipment, test methodology and basic software development and execution. This position is located at a the Kennedy Space Center Operation and Checkout facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university with an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related electrical engineering degree path.
- Familiarity to write scripts and use computer programming languages
- Experience using Windows and Unix operation systems
- Willing to travel and work off-shifts as needed
Desired Skills:
- Local candidates preferred
- Knowledge of the Orion Program and a Passion for Space Exploration
- Willingness to be in Florida to be able to work on flight hardware
- Knowledge of computer software - C, JIRA, Agile or similar
- Desire to learn new things
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin core values and policy

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
