Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer

Within the Infrastructure Maintenance department, we are looking for an Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintenance, troubleshooting, and oversight of critical infrastructure facility to ensure the continuity of site operations, including power systems, HVAC systems, firefighting systems, and other auxiliary systems. The activities must be conducted in compliance with internal procedures, national safety rules and standards (D.lgs. 81/08, etc).

In particular, the role will involve:

• Managing, scheduling, and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while also supporting maintenance back-office functions

• Managing and reporting on infrastructure maintenance work requests

• Coordinating and directing maintenance vendors on skilled tasks to ensure maintenance activities adhere to standards and requirements

• Operating the Facilities Control Systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA) to ensure continuity of facility services, as well as conducting reporting and troubleshooting

• Assisting the head of department in defining and verifying maintenance cost planning

• Supporting the identification of facility-related improvements and cost reduction opportunities

• Defining facility requirements for new infrastructure projects in collaboration with the engineering department

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automation)

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Attitude to teamwork and passion for the space sector

• Attitude to coordinate other resources internal and external

Preferred Qualification and Skylls

• Experience in facility maintenance

• Knowledge of control system principles

• Knowledge of HVAC system principles

• Knowledge of electrical distribution and generation system (medium voltage and low voltage) principles

• Ability to understand electrical wiring diagrams and functional diagrams

• Experience in the application of safety norms (D.lgs. 81/08)
