DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and maintain purchase requisition and purchase order reports for upcoming payments, forecast, and closure
  • Maintains budget/forecast material report, in alignment with our core value of integrity
  • Provides support to ensure training requirements are up to date 
  • Supports and prepares internal monthly reporting packages for internal presentations
  • Provides support for ongoing financial processes: budgeting, forecasting, monthly/quarterly closing, and analysis reporting, demonstrating our competency in cost consciousness
  • Provides and analyzes monthly balance sheets, detailed cost, and variance reports; understanding of consolidated financial reporting systems to input data and to generate both standard and custom reports appropriate for analyzing the business, including ad-hoc analysis and reporting
  • Provides and updates Headcount and Workforce Reports (new hires and terminations)
  • Supports meetings for internal and external customers
  • Provides support for Pricing Proposals, ROMs, and Bill of Materials in alignment with our core value of innovation
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves problems independently, demonstrating our competency of problem solving
  • Capacity to extract, organize, analyze, report, and explain data; ability to create and maintain desk instructions
  • Assists with timecard monitoring and corrections; ability to answer formal and informal questions in a timely manner, in alignment with our core value of together
  • Provides support with miscellaneous reporting and performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or other related degree
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in planning, programming, budgeting, and execution required or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience presenting budget, analysis, and forecasts to management preferred
  • Experience managing budgets on NASA contracts,
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.- emphasis in Excel), Cost Point/ Deltek, and data visualization tools
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work on own, as required, and able to use your own initiative; ability to perform in a demanding environment and respond quickly to requests
  • Keen sense of accountability, integrity, and team focus with extensive multitasking and organizational experience

Essential Functions

Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.

Requirements 

  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Physical Requirements

  • Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
