About the Role:
We are currently seeking a student assistant to support our Operations team. The successful candidate will work in the Image Quality Support (IQS) team. The IQS team is dedicated to comprehensive image quality evaluation, covering all aspects of image integrity. We are responsible for identifying issues, reporting them to the relevant stakeholders, and creating appropriate metrics to track and measure quality. Our work is essential in maintaining and advancing the quality of our imaging systems, ensuring continuous improvement and project success.
This role will appeal to candidates who enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams and are passionate about innovative technologies and remote sensing. The ideal candidate is proactive, goal-oriented, detailed, and strives for success. This position is based in Berlin and follows a hybrid work model, requiring 1-2 days of in-office attendance per week. The role offers 20 hours of work per week.
Impact You’ll Own:
- Operate image analysis systems
- Manage customer orders and track fulfillment
- Carry out Image Quality Evaluation
- Identify, triage and report image anomalies
- Understand and utilize internal processes and tools
What You Bring:
- Pursuing a B.S or M.S Degree in an Engineering, Software, or Science related field from an accredited college or technical school
- Fundamentals of remote sensing and image processing
- Good knowledge of photogrammetry and GIS systems
- Familiarity with UNIX operating systems
- Proficiency in English is required, as this is the primary working language of the company
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate within own and across teams
