As a Resiliency and Mission Analysis Engineer, you will be on the forefront of technology integration into various unique national asset hardware systems, with an emphasis on the holistic success of the overall mission. Job duties will include, though are not limited to:
• Own space vehicle level resiliency requirements, their verification planning, and implementation
• Evaluate design implementation solutions and operational test scenarios aligned to use cases
• Engage with stakeholders from multiple disciplines within the program and Lockheed to achieve mission objectives
• Collaborate with subcontractors, customers, and external partners to develop technical solutions to design requirements and meet mission objectives
• Ensure mission performance analysis’ validity through accurate implementation of constraints and models at appropriate levels and detail
• Participate in integrated system tests campaigns and events
• Engage with external partners to ensure interface compatibility
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Engineering, Applied Physics, related subject area, or equivalent experience
• Experience with one or more Systems Engineering functions including:
- Hardware and/or software-systems integration for satellite programs
- Interface definition
- Concept-of-operations development
• Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process including trade studies, design reviews, requirement development and system verification
• Technical collaboration with subcontractors
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to operate and collaborate in a dynamic environment with excellent time-management, being highly organized
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the mental flexibility to accept and evaluate multi-disciplinary feedback to do right by the mission
• Reliable interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus among peers and solid relationships with cross-functional and inter-organizational team members
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of spacecraft architecture, subsystems and components
• Experience with complex, large-scale spacecraft development from design through integration, test
• Experience with interface development within a System-of-systems architecture
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and formulate solutions for implementation on an inflexible
schedule agreement with stakeholders
• Internally motivated with the desire and aptitude to perform the following in rapid-fire succession, repeatedly: identify issue; survey, propose, and assess options; build consensus; and share team recommendation with comprehensive rationale
• A systems thinker with the ability to implement change and provide optimal multi-disciplinary solution

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (Cameo, Rhapsody, etc)
• Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling
• Excellent presentation skills, versatile speaker who can effectively brief audiences from different backgrounds and/or with varying technical knowledge
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with investigation in the last 5 years

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
