CLINIC PRACTICE MANAGER (STARSHIP)

The Clinic Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Starbase Medical Clinic. This includes managing all non-clinical, administrative, and operational aspects of the clinic. The Practice Manager will work with the Medical Director to develop and implement policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage both clinical and non-clinical staff and contractors. Additionally, the Practice Manager will be responsible for leading the financial, patient care coordination, and compliance aspects of the Starbase Medical Clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a liaison between the clinic, clinic personnel, and SpaceX, relaying ideas, issues and concerns regarding the clinic
  • Streamline and optimize clinic operations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations
  • Ensure compliance with laws, licensing requirements, clinic protocols, and best practices for staff, vendors, and equipment
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other service providers to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of medical supplies and equipment, in collaboration with the Medical Director
  • Facilitate efficient billing practices, monitor and track services, and assist in ensuring prompt submission to billing services

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 1+ years of professional healthcare management experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of the legal and compliance aspects of health information systems and best practices in medical office operations
  • Proficient in operating EMR software, intranet and computer navigation
  • Demonstrated experience working on large, complex projects
  • Experience managing working contracts

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
