Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern, HR Business Partner. In this role, you will get exposure to the breadth of the HR discipline through experiential learning in areas such as Total Rewards and Performance Management, Workforce Strategy, Analytics, Talent and Organizational capability, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Diversity, Inclusion, and Culture, and more! In this role, you will be placed in a teaming environment and work on projects that align with our Company's HR Strategy, as well as obtain hands on experience through projects and client exposure within the Strategic & Missile Defense HR Team.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of what the field of Human Resources is, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion to jump in and learn new things.
This position can be located in Denver, CO, or in Valley Forge, PA
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrate an interest and ability to enter the HR field and be pursuing either an undergraduate or advanced degree in HR, labor relations or a related area with specific coursework in HR.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Strong project management and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to clearly articulate strong career interest in the field of Human Resources
Desired Skills:
- Confidence in communicating in 1:1 and group settings.
- Leadership potential and competencies as evidenced by good citizenship, achievement and involvement in non-academic pursuits such as extracurricular activities, community service, or special projects
- Good organization skills and able to handle multiple priorities.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $35,173 - $67,392. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
