Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks an early to mid-career Program Planner to join our mission supporting GeoXO within in our Commercial Civil Space line of business. The Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite system is the ground-breaking mission that will advance Earth observations from geostationary orbit. It will supply vital information to address major environmental challenges of the future in support of weather, ocean, and climate operations. Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….
• Partner with Program & Senior Stakeholders to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions
• Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to implement contractual scope and overarching program plan
• Provide time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develop recommended results to programmatic implementation conflicts
• Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused
• Prepare/coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response
• Interface with program management, senior stakeholders and the customer as the programs planning integrator.
• Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts
• Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments
• Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance

Basic Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of previous planning/scheduling experience
• Experience with a planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel or other comparable software)
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts (such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, program start-up activities)
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of previous planning/scheduling experience
• Previous EVM Experience
• Experience performing critical path analysis
• Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program
• Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process
• Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule
• Prior team lead experience
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
• Excellent sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail
• Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
