Role Description:
Pixxel is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Component Engineer to join our team. 


Job Requirements

  • Proficient in the electromechanical design as well as selection, specification, and validation of critical components such as MCUs, FPGA, DSP, Communication ICs, etc.
  • Capable of analyzing component failures, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements to enhance product reliability.
  • Actively participate in idea generation for cost-down possibilities, contributing to efficient product development.
  • Provide support to Testing Personnel during product testing, ensuring the smooth execution of testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with Product Life Cycle Change Management processes and documentation, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary engineering development team, including system engineer, quality engineer, mechanical engineer and test/validation.
  •  Collaborate with supply chain teams to qualify components and assemblies, resolving issues to maintain product and project quality, cost, and deliverables.
  • Ability to create the full electronic design package and ensure data integrity of schematic diagram and board layout files.
  • Collaboration with circuit and mechanical designers, organizing design review meetings.
  • Adherence to development procedures, design guidelines, and standards to ensure reliable product quality.
  • Implementation of signal/power-integrity requirements, safety compliance requirements, and adherence to industry-specific standards.


Desirable Skills :

  • Proven experience in end-to-end PCB Layout engineering for electromechanical products.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Allegro, KiCAD and Altium for PCB Layout.
  • Solid knowledge of electronics/electro-mechanical components, along with an understanding of regulations and standards such as IPC, ISRO PAX and ESCCA.
