Temporary Talent Acquisition Sourcer

The Temporary Talent Acquisition Sourcer will play a critical role in the day-to-day candidate sourcing activities and within the Talent Acquisition team. This role will coordinate all the sourcing activities but also closely work together with recruiters, hiring managers, other members of the Talent Acquisition team.  This is not a recruiting role that does some sourcing.  We are looking for someone who has successfully been in a full-time Sourcer position for at least 8 years.  
 
Recommend the strategy to include managing the various sourcing channels and the company’s talent pool, building pipelines, and regularly interacting with both active and passive candidates.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Recommends and implements an effective sourcing strategy
  • Works together with the recruiter and hiring manager to define candidate personas
  • Sources suitable candidates through various sourcing channels
  • Research and create new sourcing avenues to find our talent
  • Use your skills and experience to use sourcing tools and technology, including an ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter and various other tools, resources to find passive candidates
  • Qualify candidates based on set criteria
  • Present qualified candidates to internal recruiters regularly to fill positions in a timely manner
  • Promotes our Employer Brand when they reach out to candidates on various platforms 
  • Is able to build and maintain a talent pool that can meet the company’s future hiring needs 
  • Keeps track of pre-defined sourcing metrics and reports on them 
  • Follows up on employee referrals and event leads
Ideal Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related business degree and 
  • 8+ years of experience as a full-time Talent Acquisition Sourcer in the Aerospace/Space or similar industry
  • Willing to consider 12+ years of experience as a Sourcer in lieu of a degree
  • Prior experience with sourcing tools and resources, HR systems (including an ATS, ideally Paycor), and CRM's
Desired Skills
  • Note that we are not looking for a Recruiter that likes to Source.  We're interested in someone with experience in and a passion for, being a full-time Sourcer.  
  • Demonstrate affinity with candidate sourcing techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, self-motivated, driven, and has a sense of urgency
  • Team player and collaborator
  • Solid skills in research to suggest new ideas to find candidates
  • Ability to effectively present roles and our company to candidates, and candidates to our recruiters
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with a positive attitude
