What does this role look like?
In this role, you will develop, maintain test sets, equipment, software, data collection and storage in support of the checkout testing for the larger, program system hardware.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and perform software maintenance
• Integrate Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) software with test set hardware components and test operator command and control software
• Maintain & update software configuration
• Real-time system checkout testing
• Support real-time data collection and analysis
• Analyze vehicle telemetry stream
• Perform impromptu briefs to customer representatives or program management
• Provide a confident, knowledgeable interface to data users and answer technical questions as they arise
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Experience with C++, Perl, Java or similar languages
• 9+ years professional experience; 7+ years with Masters degree.
• For this position, an active TS/SCI/Poly clearance is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• C++ experience; Perl, Java or similar
• Git for revision control
• Experience with Linux & Windows operating systems
• Demonstrated team/group leadership abilities
• For this position, an active TS/SCI/Poly clearance is required to be considered, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with automated testing, script development, debugging, and execution
• Experience with communications protocols such as 1553, RS-422, Ethernet, Serial Rapid IO, XAUI, and fiber optics
• Familiarity with embedded software such as:
Test Stand, NI Max, LabView FPGA, & Virtual Rack
• Network savvy
• Windows & Linux OS system administration - privileged user including workstations, test control, servers, and archives
• Active Security+ certification
• Support Space Vehicle Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
• Able to operate basic electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, signal generators

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $105,000 - $201,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
