What are we looking for?
Our global Marketing and Communications team is looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager in Poland, to tailor ICEYE’s global communications and marketing strategy, story and messaging, and activities to resonate and engage with our Polish stakeholders and audiences to build our brand and reputation in Poland and to support our business goals. This role is responsible for the local communications and marketing activities for ICEYE in Poland, as part of the global team and aligning with local leadership, ICEYE senior leadership, internal stakeholders across ICEYE business, and more.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and execution of ICEYE Communications and marketing activities in Poland, including
- Developing and driving the execution of the Marketing and Communications plan for ICEYE in Poland
- Managing and supervising PR activities and PR agency work in Poland
- Developing and nurturing relations with key journalists locally
- Overseeing the process of press releases, specifically communicating with agents, business partners, and journalists. Localization of global press releases, and supporting the content creation process. Developing and updating localized media assets, e.g. media kit, bios, photographs, etc.
- Supporting ICEYE social media and other online communications and marketing activities, in alignment with the global team
- Supporting internal communications for ICEYE Poland in collaboration with ICEYE leaders and internal stakeholders. Organizing, alongside the Poland Office Manager, team-building events and hosting offsites for international-based teams.
- Managing ICEYE marketing activities in Poland, e.g. in trade fairs, conferences
- Management of local marketing activities, materials and assets to support commercial and business targets
- Cooperation with outside entities in organizing potential market research,
- Managing the ICEYE brand presence and driving its growth in Poland in collaboration with the global marketing team
- Supporting and coordinating marketing and PR activities with ICEYE partners, customers and investors in Poland
- Planning and supervising events and side events, and supporting onsite during paramount events
Requirements
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- 6-10 years of relevant communications and marketing experience in an international company, preferably in a similar local responsibility
- Experience in communications, media relations and marketing to different audience types and tailoring storylines and messaging for diverse audiences
- Strong understanding of media and operating environment in Poland and interest in societal topics and public discourse in Poland
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as you will often be writing communication materials
- Strong conceptual skills and attention to detail
- Native-level Polish
- Fluency in Business English
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and influence across the teams - strong track record of cross-functional collaboration
- Thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural growth environment
- Flexible, positive attitude with entrepreneurial hands-on drive and spirit
In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills:
- Experience/understanding of a geospatial organization, B2G, or Defence environment
- Previous knowledge/understanding of Earth observation and/or synthetic aperture radar (SAR)

- Base salary range for this position is PLN 17000-25000 per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
