Rocket Lab’s IT team is responsible for how our global teams access information and run operations across our computer systems, networks, and devices. Our hardworking IT team is a group of flexible problem-solvers working in a fast-paced environment but who also thrive under the challenge of supporting all of our proprietary systems and people, from finance to launch operations.

MANAGER ENTERPRISE INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Based onsite at Rocket Lab’s global headquarters in Long Beach, CA, the EIS Manager will be responsible for Financial Planning, HR and ERP Systems, leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, manage ERP finance system functionalities, and oversee Workday implementation and administration. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the company's financial planning processes, maximizing ERP capabilities, and ensuring efficient utilization of Workday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, ERP systems, and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) management.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  • Lead cross-functional projects related to FP&A, ERP, and Workday systems to enable scalability of a rapidly growing or organization.
  • Provide leadership for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the finance systems like OneStream, Adaptive and/or Concur.
  • Build and lead a high performing team of business analysts responsible for delivery of systems support and new capabilities.
  • Partner with leadership in Finance and P&C global teams to ensure systems support efficient business operations.
  • Engage with our management team and systems users to communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding Rocket Lab core Finance and HR business process, enabling them to scale to meet both organic and inorganic growth.  
  • Lead ERP system enhancements, and new module implementations related to finance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align OneStream functionalities with business processes and objectives.
  • Manage data integration and ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Finance and ERP systems.
  • Oversee Workday HCM & Adaptive related issues and coordinate with Workday support as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize financial planning processes, ERP capabilities, and Workday functionalities.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions to new processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial reporting, ERP, and Workday systems.

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of experience in managing Enterprise Systems and a bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of management skills with the ability to lead high performing cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing Financial Planning (OneStream) , HRIS (Workday),  ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN , SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong technical background with managing integrations & best practices for building REST API integrations.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, PMP) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.   
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.  
  • Must be physically able to commute to buildings 
  • Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise. 

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base Pay Range (CA Only)
$115,000$150,000 USD
